3.1 Accomplish the requirements of 099-104NSSA of 2.1.
3.2 Receive from ships force one (1) each bleed air valve assembly
identified in 1.3.1 and located in 1.2.1 and as directed by the NSSA Surveyor.
3.2.1 Repair bleed air valve to working condition using original
3.3 Turn over repaired bleed air valve assembly identified in 1.3.1 to
ships force and as directed by the NSSA Surveyor.
3.4 CHECK POINT (OPERATIONAL TEST):
3.4.1 Ship’s force will accomplish an operational test. The contractor
shall standby to correct any leaks or deficiencies caused as a result of their
work in this item. Allowable leakage: None
3.4.2 Submit two (2) legible copies of a report in English listing the
results of 3.4.1 to the NSSA Surveyor.
4.1 Contractor is responsible for accomplishing all CHECKPOINTS and
providing all reports required in this work item. Contractor shall notify the
NSSA Surveyor of all CHECKPOINTS a minimum of four (4) hours but no more than one
(1) day prior to all scheduled CHECKPOINTS.
4.2 Provide miscellaneous certified weight tested rigging equipment i.e.
slings, shackles, chain falls, pallet jack, rope, beam clamps etc., to facilitate
rigging and installation without causing injurious effect to equipment.
