              • Genesis 2:1 - 3:
• v.1: Thus the heavens and the earth were
 finished, and all the host of them. v.2: And
   on the seventh day God ended His work
 which He had made; and He rested on the
  seventh day from all His work which He
     had made. v.3: And God blessed the
 seventh day, and sanctified it: because that
    in it He had rested from all His work
        which God created and made.

            Exodus 20:8 - 11
• v.8: Remember the Sabbath day to keep it
  holy.
• v.9: Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy
  work:
• v.10: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the
  Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any
  work, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter,
  thy manservant nor thy maidservant, nor thy
  cattle, nor thy stranger within thy gates:

  • The Sabbath was made for
      man (Mark 2:27) – for his
          enjoyment, for special
     fellowship and communion
  with God. Jesus is Lord of the
Sabbath (v.28). The Sabbath, if
     observed the right way will
bring us into full harmony with
   God – our Creator. You can
claim the blessings the Sabbath
 promises! Wont you begin this
