Living in by yurtgc548

 1John 1-4
From the very first day, we were there, taking it all in—
we heard it with our own ears, saw it with our own
eyes, verified it with our own hands. The Word of Life
appeared right before our eyes; we saw it happen! And
now we're telling you in most sober prose that what we
witnessed was, incredibly, this: The infinite Life of God
himself took shape before us. We saw it, we heard it,
and now we're telling you so you can experience it
along with us, this experience of communion with the
Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing
is simply this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy
will double our joy.
•Is it possible for us to experience
Jesus like John did?
•Maybe the only chance we have of
experiencing what John experienced
is when we experience it with other
•What stops us from engaging in this
fellowship, life interaction with
God is light (and God is love)

1 John 1:5
This is the message we have heard from
him and declare to you: God is light; in
him there is no darkness at all.
Living in the Light
2 Cor 6: 11-13
Dear, dear Corinthians, I can't tell you how
much I long for you to enter this wide-open,
spacious life. We didn't fence you in. The
smallness you feel comes from within you.
Your lives aren't small, but you're living them
in a small way. I'm speaking as plainly as I
can and with great affection. Open up your
lives. Live openly and expansively! (MSG)
Matt 5: 14-16
You're here to be light, bringing out the God-
colors in the world. God is not a secret to be
kept. We're going public with this, as public as
a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you
don't think I'm going to hide you under a
bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light
stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop,
on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be
generous with your lives. By opening up to
others, you'll prompt people to open up with
God, this generous Father in heaven. (MSG)
