					                            Pops Festival Instructions
Thursday, April 26
 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. - Full band rehearsal (grades 6 – 12) @ High School Varsity Fieldhouse
       Middle School Band:
       Sixth Band be ready at 7:00, 7th Band be ready at 7:10 and 8th Band be ready at 7:20.
       We will be joined by the High School at 7:30 for a full band rehearsal with the guest
       conductors. Use the northeast doors #15. You must transport your own instrument. Do not
       play your instrument until instructed to do so. Please have rides ready at 8:30.

Sunday, April 29
 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. -    Box Lunch in the Varsity Fieldhouse (served in east concourse)
                        Jazz bands play during lunch. (Jazz II, Jazz I, HS Jazz III, II, I)
                        A ticket order form is attached.

 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.   -   Pops Concert in Varsity Fieldhouse.

All students should meet in the wrestling gym at 2:00 Sunday afternoon. Do not go to warm-up
early. We will move to the Varsity Fieldhouse at 2:20. There must be no playing in the Varsity
Fieldhouse until the program begins.

Dress for the concert:
  Boys:       Dress shirt and tie, dress pants, dress shoes and socks
  Girls:      Nice dress or skirt & blouse, dress shoes
                              NO JEANS OR TENNIS SHOES!
           Remember: You are performing the entire time you are on the floor!

ALL equipment must be moved back after the concert. Percussionists should move their equipment
to the loading area. West equipment will go on the trailer (Brownsburg Instrumental Music - logo);
east equipment will go on the semi (Sound of Brownsburg – logo).

               Box Lunch at the Pops!
            Brownsburg Band and Orchestra Parents (BBOP) will be serving box lunches in the Varsity Fieldhouse prior to
            the Pops Concert on Sunday, April 29th. Plan to bring the entire family. The Middle School and High School
            Jazz Bands will provide entertainment during lunch. The meal will consist of a ham or turkey sandwich, chips,
            fruit, fresh baked cookie, and a drink. The cost is $5.00 each. Make checks payable to: BBOP. Please order
            tickets by Wednesday, April 25. Purchased tickets will be distributed to students at the Thursday evening
