Applications are invited from Entrepreneurs for allotment of Industrial SHEDS /
AND PLOTS in various Industrial Estates coming under SHIMOGA DIVISION,
the details of which are given below :

                                 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.    A). Prices indicated are approximate/tentative and are likely to increase or decrease
      depending upon the cost components , exact area and date of possession as per the rules of
      the Corporation. New rates will be applicable for allotment on or after 01.04.2009. Cost
      will worked out separately and intimated to the allottes.
      B). The dimensions and cost of the plots may change depending upon the actual. The
      allottee will have to pay the actual cost of the shed/plots before taking the possession.
      C).Prescribed Application Forms in duplicate & supplementary Application Forms along
      with copies of sketches of the plots can be obtained Free of cost from the Office of either
      Chief Manager (IEs)Z-III, KSSIDC Ltd., Industrial Estate, Yadavagiri Mysore-20 or
      Deputy Chief Manager (IEs) K.S.S.I.D.C. Ltd. Industrial Estate, Sagar Road, Shimoga,
      and Branch Manager , KSSIDC . Industrial Estate HASSAN and Senior Assistant
      KSSIDC. Industrial Estate CHIKMAGALUR. While submitting filled applications the
      applicants should pay Rs.5625.00 towards application fee by D.D. in favour of
      K.S.S.I.D.C. Ltd. Shimoga (Non refundable) (Application fee R.5000 + 12.5 %
      VAT ) form along with necessary documents,

 2. (A) The filled in Application Form in duplicate along with the SSI Registration Certificate
    issued by the Department of Industries & Commerce (DIC) detailed Project Report,
    Domicile Certificate issued by Jurisdictional Thasildar or documents in support of
    educational qualifications or ration card or ID card issued by Election Commission or
    Driving License or passport for having stayed in Karnataka for 10 Years, 2 Nos. latest
    Photograph , caste certificate in case of SC/ST applicants along with Earnest Money
    Deposit (EMD) at 5 % ( refundable in case of non allotment and adjustable towards
    cost of plot/Shed in case of allotment ) on the base price of the shed / plot and Scrutiny
    fee of Rs. 500/-+ Service Tax ( Rs. 562/-) ( non refundable ) by way of Demand Draft
    drawn in favour of K.S.S.I.D.C. Limited PAYABLE AT SHIMOGA shall be
    submitted along with the application. In case of SC/ST applicants and Women
    Entrepreneurs, the scrutiny fee of Rs.200/-+Service Tax (Rs.226/-) will be applicable. The
    EMD of 5 % will be forfeited in case of failure to accept allotment of shed/plot as per
    rules.
 3.   Applicants belonging to SC/ST category are eligible for a one time                  subsidy
      amount of 40 % of the price Subject to Maximum limit of Rs.2.00 Lakhs. In case of
      allotment of more than one plot/shed to the same applicant, subsidy will be limited to 40
      % of the total price of the allotted plots/sheds subject to maximum limit of Rs.2.00 Lakhs.
      This is subject to the approval of competent authority.
 4. An Applicant may apply for one or more than one plot/shed/shop and in such cases
    separate EMD is to be paid for each plot/ shed.

  5. The last date for submission of filled in application along with EMD & enclosures is
     25.03.2009        at 5.00 pm. Filled in application forms along with requisite EMD/
     Enclosures may be submitted either at the Office of Deputy Chief               Manager
     (IEs),KSSIDC Limited, Industrial Estate, Sagar Road        SHIMOGA-577 204.,Brancha
     Manager, KSSIDC Ltd., Industrail Estate. Arasikere Road, Hassan, and Senior Assisrtant,
     KSSIDC Ltd., Industrail Estate, K,M. Road, Chikmaglure Applications submitted after
     due date will not be accepted and will be rejected summarily . No correspondence will be
     entertained in this regard.
  6. Applications in the prescribed format submitted without requisite enclosures and EMD are
     liable to be rejected.
  7. Allotment of Shed/plot will be on “ AS IS WHERE IS BASIS ” the allotment of plot/shed
     will be on down payment of 99 % of Cost of plot/shed within 60 days from the date of
     communication OR on EMI method as prescribed by the corporation (Monthly EMI
     Payment basis) details can be had from KSSIDC Offices. The EMI payment basis option
     for 6 years will have to be accepted and paid within 45 days
  8. Allottes shall construct the Industrial Work shed / factory within a maximum period of 3
     years from the date of possession of the plot after approval of plan from the competent
     authority and start the Industry. Sale deed of the plot will be issued only after the
     completion of the lease period after construction of factory & staring the production.
     OR any other condition to be imposed. Incase of non construction of the building within
     the stipulated period allotment of the plot will be cancelled and amount paid will be
     forfeited. In case of the sheds the unit should be functional within two years from the
     date of allotment of shed.
  9. Shed No SM-01 & 02 at Indl Estate, Mandli-Kallur are reserved for SC & ST applicants
     only. These sheds are constructed under Dr. Ambedkar’s Centenary Programme and
     hence eligible 60 % subsidy on the price or Rs. 1,16,160/- whichever is less.

 10. The Plot Spl-17 at Indl Estate is rerserved exclusively for e Establishment of Canteen
     purpose and it is not having any any Subsidy or any benifites form corporation.

 11. The Corporation reserves the rights of allotting the sheds/plots or rejecting   any
     or all applications received without assigning any reason.
12. The new allottee shall pay the statutory dues if any like water charges and electricity bill
    charges etc., in respect of ex- allottes in respect of sheds.
13. The allottee shall pay slum Cess, Service charges, power line cost as indicated in the
    project report along with the applicable service Tax & Ed Cess will have to be paid along
  with
    cost of the plot at the time of taking over the possession of the plot ( Power line cost is
    applicable if power supply provided by the Corporation)
14. 15% of the Sheds/Plots will be allotted to SC , 3% to ST, 2% to Nomadic tribes and 3% to
    disabled applicants with overall 30% representation to the Woman Entrepreneurs for
    regular allotment cases only.

15. The ex allottees of earmarked sheds are offered to avail the benefit of the OTS-II
  implemented by the corporation. If the ex allottees of the earmarked sheds are availe the
  benefit the the OTS –II, those applicants are applied for allotment of sheds such applications
  will be rejected .
