HUNGARIAN GOULASH Cooking time: 2 hours Cooking time: 2 hours Complexity: Medium Ingredients: 600 g beef pulp, pepper, 200 g onion, 2 garlic cloves, 3 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika, 1 teaspoon of paprika pepper, salt, 2 bay leaves, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, a little can of peeled tomatoes (240 g), 2 chilli peppers, 300 g potatoes, 1 teaspoon of flour, 2 teaspoons of cream. Preparation: Wash the meat, then dry it, cut it in medium pieces (as for a regular stew), add pepper. Peel the onion and the garlic. The onion should be cut in small quarters, the garlic should be sliced. Place the butter to heat up in the pan and fry all pieces of meat (as long as it takes a little colour). Add the onion and the garlic and let them boil a little with the meat. Add paprika, salt, bay leaves, vinegar, peeled tomatoes, and 700 ml of hot water. Put everything to boil for one and a half hour on low heat. Separately, clean the chilli pepper from their seeds, wash and cut them into strips of about 1 cm. Peel the potatoes, wash, cut them into pieces 2 cm. After an hour of boiling, put the chilli peppers in the goulash and add potatoes 15 minutes before meals is ready. Mix the flour with water and put it in the goulash. Add sour cream. Taste it to sees if it has enough salt and pepper. Everything is ready, so.........Bon appetite! POLISH STEW We should use - 6 medium potatoes - 3 carrots - 3 smoked sausages - one onion - 1 litre of vegetable soup - 2 tablespoons of butter - 200g cream - 200g of melted cheese with greens - one leek - Chopped parsley - Salt, pepper, vegeta We should start with: cutting the sausages in slices, cutting the potatoes into cubes, the carrots into slices, chopping the onion and leek. In a pretty big pan, melt the butter in it and fry the sausages. Then add the chopped onion and boil them together. Add flour stirring all the time. After the flour it is the time to add the soup. Let the whole thing boil. Separately, boil the carrots and potatoes, about 20 minutes on low heat. The idea is to not cook them all, for the potatoes can clumble. Anyway, they will also boil in the stew. Having said that, we should add cream over sausage, stir well, and then put potatoes and carrots. At the end add melted cheese and boil until all is melted. The leek is added at the end. Stir well. Bon appettite and viva polska people! DUMPLINGS OF DOUGH - HOUSKOWE KNEDLIKI Preparation time: 60 min Difficulty: easy “Knedliki” dumplings– Czech traditional garnish for meat, served instead of potatoes Description Dumplings "knedliki" are a traditional Czech garnish for dishes with meat. They may be made of flour, potato or yeast dough. They may be presented as a dessert - served with sweetened fruit. Ingredients 4 eggs 7 rolls 500 g flour 2 teaspoons of salt 0.5 cup milk Preparation The eggs are mixed with salt and then add the flour, then milk, mix well, for the dough to incorporate air, which ensures its freshness Cut the rolls in the croutons and add to batter, stirring continuously After kneading, allow the dough to rest 0.5 hours After half an hour form elongated sausages and boil them in salted water for 15 minutes, without turning them to boil, then turn and simmer them for about 5 - 10 minutes • After boiling, cut them into slices Dumplings are served with steak, with plenty of sauce. In a pan with oil, add the composition in which make 4-5 cavities with a spoon. In these cavities, break the eggs. Place the pan in the hot oven. When the white of the egg is coagulated, arrange the sliced tomatoes between the eggs. Let the pan in the oven for several minutes, then sprinkle over chopped parsley and serve it immediately.
