             Mission Statement
The Clinton Township School District will ensure, for each child,
meaningful and challenging educational experiences in a
                 supportive caring environment.
The Clinton Township School District emphasizes the
enhancement of student learning with the delivery of instruction
through curriculum and programs that align with the New Jersey
Core Curriculum Content Standards and reflect the ten New
         Jersey Professional Standards for Teachers.
          District Achievements
 Highly competitive academic, athletic and co-
    curricular programs
 Student recognition locally and nationally in
areas of music, math, science, art and literacy
 Teachers and Administrators elected to state-
    wide leadership roles
 Attainment of all NCLB Standards for all grades
assessed by State – Adequate Yearly Progress
    for all indicators
 Inclusive Education
Budget Development Process
 Administrative Team made recommendations for the budget based on teacher input,
student needs, program initiatives, and State mandated New Jersey Core Curriculum
Standards. All efforts were made to remain within the budget CAP of 4%.

 The next step in the budget process was review, with deletions and additions, by the
Finance Committee. The Finance Committee identified areas to pare down the
budget without seriously affecting the integrity of the budget.

 At the February 25, 2008 Board of Education meeting, the budget was discussed by
the full board. At that meeting, board members made additional recommendations
and changes to the budget prior to review by the New State Department of Education
    County Office.

 Public input is critical to the budget process. In order to solicit input, the following
meetings have been scheduled prior to budget vote on April 15th:

 March 10th, 2008 - 7:00 PM Board meeting will be held at Round Valley for further
Board discussion and review of the budget.

 March 18th, 2008 – Seven meetings conducted throughout the day to address the
budget at both the district and school-specific levels
