     Putney Cricket Club, The Pavilion, Lower Richmond

     The pavillion provides excellent facilities for
     club members, including two changing rooms,
     showers and a bar area serving draught and
     bottled beers at a very reasonable price.
     The club runs three or four sides each weekend.
     On Saturdays two teams compete in the Kookaburra
     Fordham Surrey Cricket League. About half of the games
     are played at home, the away games are generally
     played within South West London or North Surrey.
     There are several mid-week matches throughout
     the season, with a tour to Sussex near the end of
     July. Winter nets are held at the Ken Barrington
     Cricket School at the Kennington Oval.

the character of Battersea Park. The park’s location
on the Thames makes for a relaxing and peaceful
walk along the riverside path. There are also a
number of activities within the grounds including
rowing on the boating lake, tennis and athletics.
Another point of interest is the visually stunning Peace
Pagoda that overlooks the river. Well worth a visit.

                                       grounds, horse trails and a whole range of enchanting footpaths.
                                       From its highest vantage point Richmond Park offers stunning views of
                                       the Thames and on fine days you can even spot St. Paul’s Cathedral.
