            Nearly 700 cases
             yearly
            Two full-time cruelty
             officers
            Almost all cases are
             reported by caring
             citizens
Pet Adoptions
     Must fill out and sign a
      contract
     Pay a fee that includes
      spay/neutering, license,
      and a small adoption
      donation
     State law requires all
      adopted animals be
      spayed/neutered
