Stationery Requirement for 2012
Grade 1
Dear parent
The stationery requirements for 2012 are listed below. Please ensure that all the items that are
required are sent to school on the first day, clearly marked with your child’s name. All extra
stationery is kept in a container in the class teacher’s storeroom for use during the year.
Please note that particular brands have been requested. The reason for this is that these products
are superior in quality and durability. This means that they generally last longer and work better!
Many sub-quality H pencils for example are very difficult to sharpen and their points break easily.
Many makes of sharpeners do not work at all! Your cooperation in this regard is much
appreciated.
All stationery can be purchased at a cost of R585.00 from the service provider as per the order
form. Should you wish to make use of this offer please complete the attached order form and
send the correct amount of money in an envelope to school by Friday 4th November. Alternatively,
should you wish to do an EFT please note banking details on the return slip. Do not EFT the
money to the school. NO LATE ORDERS CAN BE PROCESSED. Should you wish to source your
own stationery please use the list below to do so.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
The maroon Maragon school bag is required. No suitcases with wheels will be permitted, as
they do not fit into the lockers in the classrooms.
Plastic covers for all work books and homework books will be supplied by the school.
You may be requested to replace certain stationery items throughout the year as the need
arises. A comprehensive list will be sent home when necessary
