An allergic reaction to alcohol is quite
common among Asians which is why an
allergic reaction to alcohol is labeled
"Asian Flush" and "Asian Glow". An
allergic reaction to alcohol takes place
shortly after drinking beverages with
alcohol in them.
How quickly and how intensely this allergic
reaction occurs varies from person to person. Some people
experience an allergic reaction to alcohol every single time they
drink while others sporadically. Some people will start to
experience the allergic reaction within moments after a couple of
gulps while others don't experience the symptoms of Asian Glow
until they are starting to feel drunk.

SYMPTOMS OF ALLERGIC REACTION TO ALCOHOL

There is a wide range of symptoms you may experience when
you have an allergic reaction to alcohol filled beverages. The
most common symptoms is a red face which is why one of the
terms to describe this type of allergy is called "Asian Blush"
because the person experiencing the allergic reaction gets a
bright red face and looks like they are blushing.
Another similar reaction is red patches or rashes on other parts
of the body such as neck, chest, arms, shoulders. This allergic
reaction to alcohol rash may be accompanied by itchiness or
prickly sensation of the skin. Here is a list of all the allergic
symptoms the Asian Flush sufferer may experience.
   allergic reaction to alcohol skin
   rash or hives
   tiredness
   dizziness
   accelerated pulse
   drop in blood pressure
   congestion
   head pressure
   headache

SUDDEN ALLERGIC REACTION TO ALCOHOL

This phenomena occurs when a person has been able to
consume alcohol most of much of their life without any allergic
reactions or symptoms to alcohol. Then all of a sudden out of the
blue one evening they are drinking and BAM! They are suddenly
hit with all of these strange symptoms.
This is exactly what happened to me. At
the time I never heard of such a thing -
having an allergy to alcohol - so when it
happened I became very alert and scared
and thought I was having a stroke. This
generally occurs because an allergic
reaction to alcohol happens because an
enzyme responsible for the proper
digestion of alcohol is inactive. This enzyme, Aldeyhyde
Dehydrogenase, is often referred to as the Asian Flush enzyme.
This enzyme is produced by the liver.
Over time a regular drinking compromises the health and
functioning of their liver to a certain extent. A person who
consumes alcohol regularly may finally get to a point where the
liver is no longer able to produce enough of the active Asian
Flush enzyme. The result is seemingly all of a sudden getting an
allergic reaction to alcohol consumption.

COMBATING ALLERGIC REACTION TO ALCOHOL

There is an Asian Glow treatment called
the No Red Face Formula. The No Red
Face Formula is an online publication or E-
book that has a list of ingredients or recipe
called the No Red Face Formula. These
ingredients can be obtained at little cost
from any health food store. The recipe is to
be made and taken about an hour before
consuming alcohol.
This allows the former Asian Flush sufferer to be able to drink
alcohol in whatever quantity with no more allergic reactions and
symptoms from the alcohol. The reason it is called The No Red
Face Formula is because the most common symptom of alcohol
allergy is the red face but the No Red Face Formula significantly
lessons or eliminates all of the Asian Flush symptoms.
