The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
December 17, 18, 19 – 7:30pm December 19 – 2:00pm Reuther Auditorium
The Herdmans are absolutely and without question the worst kids “in the entire history of the world.” They are guilty of every unmentionable childhood crime and have thought of more than a few original ones. When they take over the church Christmas pageant (although none of them has ever attended church, much less heard the Christmas story before), the first Christmas becomes new and real in some pretty surprising ways.

The story focuses upon a young farmer, his wife, and a young servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife’s arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie—and it is here that the monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifyingly depicted. The farmer, instead of saving his wife, finds himself also accused of witchcraft and ultimately condemned with a host of others. Mature themes

Power, ambition, greed... it’s just another day at the office. A satire of big business and all it holds sacred, “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant “company man,” the boss’ whiny, nepotistic nephew, the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love.
