SCOPE OF WORK FOR 100 GL The goal of this project is to install a new audio visual system into 100 General Lectures. The room is used primarily as a classroom, but also as a special events venue for University events as well as student organization events. Because this room is essentially a multi-purpose room, we have designed the system so that it can operate from the instructor work station that is on the stage, from the booth if the instructor work station is removed from the stage, and to a limited degree from the back of the room when the instructor work station is removed from the stage without entering the projection booth. The main design criteria are to make the system as easy to use and as reliable as an ATM machine or self serve gas pump. Another criteria is the ablity to use Roomview 6 as well as server edition to monitor and help users as fast as possible. Another criteria was to select products that would be expandable for future forseeable technologies. We did not consider 3D for this phase.
