We are quite famous for some of our benefits – such as our holiday homes! However, these
are just one of many benefits – all offered to help our colleagues and all offered for very
good reasons!

TO ENCOURAGE GOOD SERVICE AND SALES

 Profit share scheme. All support colleagues receive a share of the profits, paid
quarterly, after three months service with the company.
 Contribution Bonus – a bonus is paid to each store colleague based on the
contribution made by their store each month and the store’s position in the Richer
Way League. The top five stores in the RWL also receive prizes each month.
 CSI bonus – all store colleagues receive payments based on their ranking in the
Customer Service Index. This is based on feedback from customers through, for
instance, the customer questionnaire and ‘we’re listening’ cards. The top colleague
each month wins a trip to the holiday home of their choice. The company will pay half the fare to the USA for any colleague who
has been in the top 20% of the CSI for three months or more – in return for a short report on customer service in the USA.
 Phone Surveys and Mystery Shopper bonuses – financial rewards are given to colleagues who perform well in phone
surveys or who are working in stores which receive an ‘excellent’ mystery shopper report.
 Free uniforms of shirts/blouses, ties, waistcoats and badges for all sales colleagues and overalls for warehouse colleagues.
Thermal vests are provided during winter months. Female colleagues can also purchase tights from petty cash to replace any
         damaged whilst working.

TO INSPIRE GOOD IDEAS

 A cash bonus of up to £25 is given for each new idea sent to our suggestion scheme and the people making the best two
suggestions each month can choose from a prize menu of activities.
 The company will also pay £6 per month per colleague for refreshments consumed on a ‘suggestion night’.

TO ENCOURAGE EXTRA EFFORT

 Golden aeroplanes (plus £10 reward) for dedication above and beyond the expected.
Colleagues who receive five gold aeroplanes exchange these for a platinum aeroplane. (At the opposite end of the
scale, we also give wooden spoon awards for acts of amazing stupidity!)
 Introductory awards for colleagues who introduce a friend or relative to the company. Each colleague receives
a reward of £100 after the new colleague has been employed for six months.
 Help with training. Up to £75 for helping at seminars or with technical training for colleagues who have achieved the Gold
         technical award.
