   Create a historical timeline for classroom display.
   Write a 500 word Research Paper on Manhattan Project due prior to End of Unit
    Roundtable Presentation.
   Complete Lesson 5 Roundtable Presentation.
Intro to the Manhattan Project
                Many scientists and theorists believed that there
                   was an inherent danger in unleashing the
                   “nuclear genie” from the bottle of invention
                   that was containing it.

                Others still believed that the creation of the Atom
                    Bomb was just a stepping stone on the path
                    toward harnessing the power of the Atom.
                 A Simple Manhattan Project


   1939 Germans begin Atomic Bomb research.
   1942 United States begin their Bomb development program.
   1945 United States test detonates first Atomic Bomb on July
    16th.
