A Bonus is an extra payment given when someone works hard.

If a worker exceeds a target they may receive a bonus payment

Karen is expected to sent 100 items per day.
If she sends ( dispatches ) more than 100 items she gets
a bonus of £2.50 per extra item.

What will her bonus be if she dispatches 127 items

 127 is more than 100    Extra =    127 – 100 = 27

Bonus =    27    X £2.50
                 items       = £67.50
