The National Association of Professional Organizers -- Los Angeles and New York Chapters (NAPO-LA
and NAPO-NY) are watching a urry of online voting activity as they prepare to host the seventh annual
Organizing Awards on October 20, 2012. Voting is currently underway to recognize the organizing and
productivity industry¼s best. The polls will close at 11:59 p.m. September 21, 2012. “Dreaming Big.
Shining Bright” is the theme for the seventh annual Organizing Awards to be held at the Sheraton
Universal Hotel in Universal City on October 20, 2012.
Voting is open to all members of NAPO national. Categories include Most Innovative Organizer, Best
Office Organizing Product, Best Green Organizing Service, and Best Organizing Website or Blog. A new
award category will be presented this year for Best Organizing Mobile App. Voting options can be
accessed or revisited online at the NAPO-LA website - http://www.napola.org.
Trish Suhr of Style Network's “Clean House” is the celebrity host for the evening. Suhr is no stranger to
the Organizing Awards. Last year, she and co-star Mark Brunetz accepted the award for “Best Show
Incorporating Organization on National Television” on behalf of “Clean House.”
About the Organizing Awards:
The Organizing Awards, now in its seventh year, takes place annually to honor outstanding achievements
and contributions to the organization and productivity profession, and to
recognize professional organizers, organizing retailers, organizing products, services and
resources, charities, technology providers, authors and the media. The 2012 Celebrity Host is the
inimitable Trish Suhr, the self-proclaimed “Garage Sale Diva” from Style Networks “Clean House.”

NAPO-LA and NAPO-NY continue to bring innovation to the industry this year as they prepare to honor
stand-outs in the organizing industry. Continuing this year are the Red Carpet Cocktail Reception and
Gala Industry Exchange where exhibitors will feature new products, services, books, closet systems and
accessories and technology and ofce products, all designed to showcase the
benets of better personal productivity, time saving techniques, and the advantages of living in a
streamlined home and ofce environment - just what the organizing awards are all about.
Not-to-be-missed are the fabulous prizes being rafed off throughout the evening, and, of course, an
exciting and memorable celebration of our industry during an elegant dinner and awards show.
The Organizing Awards is a fundraising and public awareness event. Produced and presented by the
National Association of Professional Organizers - Los Angeles and New York chapters (NAPO-LA), a
not-for-prot organization meeting IRS Tax Code 501(c)(3) requirements. Sponsorship opportunities are
available and will underwrite production costs. All proceeds from the Awards benet NAPO-LA and
NAPO-NY for their chapters' educational programming. Benets of sponsorship include mention in all
press releases and prominent logo usage on all promotional materials, invitations and banners.
