   Slaps its enemy with tail
   3 feet, 20 pounds
   Grows hair and quills together
   30,000 quills-new quills to replace old ones
   Climbs trees
   Stays in den during bad weather
    Fun & Unusual Facts
 Cousin beaver
 It is a rodent

 Can’t shoot quills at enemies

 Don’t make houses where porcupines
