         Pray for Boldness
• Paul wrote about his own fears of
  sharing the gospel
    –1 Corinthians 2:1-3

  or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the

         Pray for Boldness

  sharing the gospel
    –He believed in the power of prayer
     and solicited prayers of others
     • Ephesians 6:18-19

• If we find ourselves lacking
  courage, then let our preparation
  include diligent prayer for
  boldness.

     Steps in building courage
• Start out sharing Christ in a way
  which will not bring you face to
  face with people.

• Select some tracts you feel are
  good.
     –Leave it on your table with your tip.
     –Drop a tract in the envelope, even in
      the bills you pay
     –Leave a tract in a phone booth or in
      a restroom.

• Select some tracts you feel are
  good.
• What happens to the tract should
  no longer concern you.

• Let your light shine naturally when
  around non-Christians
     –Matthew 5:16

  a way that they may see your good
 works, and glorify your Father who is
               in heaven.”

     –There is a difference between doing
      things to be seen
     –And doing things that are seen
      • Offer thanks for your food.
      • Keep a Bible with you at all times

      indicate your faith in God.
     –"I will keep you in my prayers."

      preacher, Bible class teacher, or
      what you gleaned from your own
      private study.
     –Use the expression “If the Lord
      wills...“

• You are not directly teaching yet,
• But you are beginning to face
  people
