Summary
The Compliance Director is accountable for policy development, legal compliance and legislative affairs. Compliance Director is involved in the development of products and services to existing and potential customers.
Job Duties
Act as the legislative representative by remaining informed of all political issues and proposals, communicating our position to legislators and gaining their support Understand and access all information regarding regulatory matters Communicate and advise as to the status of legislative issues to upper management and the board of directors Develop and update company policies and compliance issues as needed Develop and modify all forms and contracts to be used in company operations Act as the appointed compliance officer Assure policies are accurate, current and in compliance with federal/national and state/province regulations Assure that all policies are updated as the corresponding laws are changed Make presentations to Board of Directors on the status of legislative affairs Assis
