					          DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION




Position Description:
The role of the Director of Human Resources and Administration is to provide leadership
and coordination of company Human Resources functions, including, recruiting and
employment, benefits administration, employee relations, policy/procedure development,
records, information management, budget, strategy and H/R programs. The position
formulates and recommends H/R policies and objectives for executive team decisions and
sets the tone for the delivery of user friendly services. This role will also over see, under
the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, corporate facilities function.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    The selection and placement of employees in the various jobs within the
     organization, including the recruitment and hiring of new talent, performance
     management, succession planning and maintaining employment records.
    Provide the employees with effective training and development opportunities.
     Coaching employees, providing feedback and effectively communicating
     opportunities for improvement.
    The director participates in quality assessments, improvement activities and
     analyses data as part of management reporting.
    Champion the employment brand and organization’s culture to ensure the promise
     that IDPL is a great place to work.

Employment Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management or related field.
    5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience within a dynamic, fast pace
       organization with at least 5 years at a senior management Human Resources level
       managing a staff of employees. SPHR designation is desirable.
     Direct experience with employee relations, human resources procedures and
        processes with an understanding of employment law.
       Strong knowledge of understanding of state and federal regulations/legislation
        and the ability to apply this knowledge.
       Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in working
        on multiple projects simultaneously.
       Must be a highly motivated professional with strong interpersonal skills, excellent
        communications skills, analytical and strategic planning skills.
       Must have some bi-lingual skills in Spanish and English.

       Salary is commensurate with experience.
