Information Security Officer’s organization. Therefore it would be helpful for applicants to be aware that this
vacancy is in the OCISO Policy and Planning Branch, so we are seeking applicants with the following
skills/knowledge/education/certification:

-Providing technical consulting and compliance testing in support of OCISO’ ongoing requirement for oversight of
the CDC Certification & Accreditation (C&A) process.

-Submitting findings that will be used to determine the overall effectiveness of the security controls associated with
an information system (including system-specific, common, and hybrid controls) and to providing credible and
meaningful input to the agency’s risk management process.

-Conducting Risk Management Worksheet False Positive validations, Enterprise Plan of Action & Milestone
(POA&M) validations, and system retirement validations in support of the CDC/OCISO Certifying Authority (CA)
decision to authorize system operations.
