Professional Accomplishments

      Injury Reduction: Achieved “best in class” injury results within the chemical
       manufacturing industry. As a plant manager, reduced site injuries from 25 recordable
       injuries per year to zero and recorded four years without a lost-time injury. Reduced
       recordable injuries by 20% during a difficult restructuring effort at Brown Printings
       largest facility.

      Management Systems: Achieved ISO 14001 certification at 33 manufacturing locations
       and 2 corporate headquarters for Degussa Construction Chemicals Americas. Assisted
       with the integration of ISO RC14001 into the existing ISO 14001 program. Received
       MNSHARP certification at Anchor Block Company. Worked with clients in the medical
       device, pharmaceutical recycling and defense industries to prepare for ISO 14001,
       OHSAS 18001 and R2 certification audits. Led and participated on internal management
       system and compliance audits teams.

      Program Development and Implementation: Developed comprehensive EHS manuals and
       implemented corporate programs to ensure compliance with applicable safety, health,
       transportation and environmental regulations and company directives. Developed a
       comprehensive environmental health and safety program for a local pharmaceutical client
       to meet regulatory requirements.

      Product Stewardship: Successfully facilitated and led the development of a
       comprehensive product stewardship program managing 2,500+ raw materials and 650
       finished products. Program encompassed multi-national, federal, state and local
       requirements that provided critical information on the safe handling, use, transportation
       and reporting needs associated with our products. Clear and concise MSDS and warning
       labels reduced emergency calls from 1- 2 per week to less than 1 per month.

      Technical and Legal Knowledge: Worked jointly with corporate legal counsel to provide
       key information and testimony to prevent $6 million product litigation and worker’s
       compensation losses. Successfully led and directed industry group efforts with USEPA
       negotiations preventing the loss of a product line valued at $7.0 million.
