PROJECT DESCRIPTION: "2012 Demolition on 2417 Freeman Road Edgewood
WA” consisting of the demolition, including the removal all foundations and
backfilling all foundation voids with gravel borrow, of two (2) major structures – 1
single-family residential structure and 1 detached barn-like structure, miscellaneous
minor structures – sheds, lean-tos, chicken coops, etc., decomissioning of existing
septic tank in accordance with Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, removal
of all woody debris, and all other work necessary to complete the project as specified
in the contract documents within the City of Edgewood corporate limits. This project
is funded with City of Edgewood Surface Water monies.
Contract duration is 30 calendar day commencing from issuance of written "Notice to
The City has completed an Asbestos Survey and the report is available on the City
website for downloading. Contractor to provide abatement and disposal of
hazardous materials per Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department requirements
and provide disposal documentation.
No on-site disposal of demolition debris including, but not limited to, burial or used of
demolition debris as void fill materials. Contractor to provide documentation for
source of clean gravel borrow.

All demolition debris must be disposed off in accordance with Tacoma-Pierce
County Health Department requirements. Contractor to provide documentation for
disposal of demolition debris.
There is a well and well house located within the project boundaries which is not
included in this project. All areas within the project boundaries for the house and
shop structures are considered disturbed and are not subject to environmental
requirements. Contractor is responsible to implement Temporary Erosion and
Sediment Control and use Best Management Practices for the entire duration of the
project. TESC and BMP costs are incidental to the project scope. See Exhibit A for

OFFICE HOURS ARE 8:30 to 5:00 Monday-Thursday, and 8:30 to 12:00 on Fridays
