2. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
It was agreed that it should be minuted that Jim Teague left the meeting at 7.50p.m.
The Minutes of the meeting with the Church representatives have been amended and
James confirmed that copies have been given to David, John and Cathy. It was
agreed that a copy of these Minutes should be put on the notice boards and also on the

7. The actual price of the Cheese & Wine tickets will be £6.50 to include a glass of wine
and raffle ticket.
8. The Residents Association has decided not to proceed with a Race Night.

4. TREASURER’S REPORT
Julie reported that the sum of £237.76 was raised at the Cheese & Wine Evening, as
per the attached statement. The available balance is £888.19, which takes into
account stock of £81.02. Karen questioned the fact that there is a large amount of
stock, and suggested that in future wine could be bought on a sale or return basis.
Malcolm explained that a good deal of wine had been donated to the Cheese & Wine
evening after the wine had been purchased. Not enough wine is usually bought to
warrant a sale or return. The wine in stock will be kept for the BBQ. It was agreed
that hire of gazebos should be booked through Julie and that a flat amount of £5 should
be charged for hire of equipment from the RA. Prices and Julie’s contact details will be
put on the notice board, and will be added to future flyers.
5. FEEDBACK TO DATE RE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FOR FUTURE
These were read out and will be discussed at the next meeting.
Jim suggested that the date could be moved forward to 29 th August. A vote was taken
and it was carried that the original date of 5th September will stand. Tickets will be
priced at £3 to include Burger and Hot Dog.

7. ITEMS FOR WEBSITE
(i) Minutes of meeting between RA members and Church representatives
(ii) Minutes of 16 July
(iii) Hire of RA equipment
James to arrange a link to the Llanfair School website

(i) Sarah reported that the Church is organising a Bridge afternoon to take place
on 20th October at Llantonian Hall, Llantwit Major. James will ask the
organisers if they wish for notices to be put up on the notice boards.
(ii) Christmas Fayre – Karen wished to ensure that musicians for the Fayre are
available, and to that end James will contact Rob Goodhew, and Karen will
contact Mike and Helen Page.
Jim will inform Llanfair School of the date to avoid a clash of dates.
(iii) Malcolm reported that the balance of the spreading of topsoil and seeding has
been completed. He explained that the seeding was carried out early, as the
weather had been so bad.
(iv) Ralph Lock has donated a picnic table. This is in the shed for the time being.
(v) The purchase of a printer was discussed. Undecided at present.
