TRANSFEREE ALLOWANCES/NEW EMPLOYEE ADVANCES
I, ________________________, an employee of Marathon Oil Corporation, or its subsidiaries or
affiliates, hereby request a Transfer Allowances/New Employee Advance be issued to me in
the amount of $ _______________, which I acknowledge I am obligated to repay to Marathon
Oil Corporation. In the event said advance is not repaid upon settlement of my Transfer
Allowances/New Employee Expense Report or the termination of my employment with
Marathon Oil Corporation, whichever occurs first, I hereby authorize Marathon Oil Corporation to
deduct from my wages the amount of the advance outstanding.

You must circle below the reason(s) for the Transferee Allowances/New Employee
Advances and follow the percentage guidelines as stated in the “Advances” section of
the Relocation Guide.
REASONS: Relocation Allowance, Advance House Hunting Trip, Temporary Living, Final Travel
Trip, Home Purchase Closing Costs, Duplicate Expenses, Home Sale Bonus, Lease
Cancellation Fee, Loss On Sale and Mortgage Interest Rate Subsidy.

INSTRUCTIONS:
This form is to be used by employees needing funds in advance of final settlement
to cover moving expenses that will be reimbursable under the Relocation
Assistance Plan.
The form must be signed and dated by the employee requesting the advance and a
reason(s) shown for the advance request.
