• The following presentation provides an overview
  of the issues, aims and proposals for the main
  issues within the Vetting Committee the working
  groups involved and outlines new work
  programme items.

    OM, PSC, IMO, etc.

    the membership

• Issue:- Getting access to a SIRE
          inspector has become a
          problem.
• Aim:- Maximise utilisation of
          inspectors to reduce delay
          and expense
• Objectives:-
  – Establish inspector locations and who
    they work for.

• Issue:- “Time in Rank” criteria which
          industry cannot comply with.
• Aim:-    Co-ordinate a response to
          deal with compliance issues.
