Course Title and Code: PSED 603H Effective Teaching Strategies
Credit: Three semester undergraduate or graduate hours

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to prepare new educators for their instructional duties.
1. Participants will be instructed in lesson design and basic principles of effective teaching
with emphasis on instructing adult learners.
2. Participants will be involved in the use of instructional strategies designed to engage
students in the learning process.
3. Participants will design and teach one lesson in class based on principles of effective
