BEFORE YOU BEGIN! You will first need to JOIN SaleHOP. Membership is free! Be sure
to select Retail Store and enter your store name and phone number to gain retail membership access to all of the features you will need to be successful. We recommend that your screen name be similar to your store name. Next, depending on the advertising package you purchased, you should plan your online marketing campaign strategy. A strong campaign should be a minimum of 3 months long of weekly or monthly promotions that hook the shopper to come and try your product or service.

Once your outline is complete you can maximize your campaign by planning the following steps: 1) Schedule your promotions with your Go Live date 0-3 days before your start date. 2) Plan to upload your sale listing to Facebook, Twitter or other social websites the day your sale is live. 3) Plan to send invitation emails to customers and followers the day your listing is live. 4) Return anytime to check your traffic stats. 5) Pass out SaleHOP Reward Points to thank customers for coming to your sale.

HOW TO ADD A LISTING
1) Select the Sale Type that best fits your promotion 2) Select 1 week if your sale is for 7 days or less…or select 1 month if your sale is for 8 days or more. NOTE: Weekly sales require you enter specific dates and times. Monthly sales only ask for start and end dates. 3) Set the Go Live date to 0-3 days prior to the start date. This feature will let your sale appear up to 3 days in advance of your sale to give shoppers a heads up that it is coming. 4) Enter the location of your store then Map It to make sure that Google can find your address. NOTE: You may enter up to 10 additional locations with this promotion for $10 each. 5) The description should always begin with your store name, the offer and then a paragraph about your store, products, and services. Why is this important? The description acts as the key words used by shoppers to search for what you have to offer! 6) Here you can choose to upload your own PDF flyer with your artwork and coupons, or you can create your own coupons with our coupon creator which will add them to our own flyer template. 7) The first picture should be your logo or storefront. The gallery can be used to show pictures of your store, staff, or feature products you sell. 8) If this is a big sale event, your sale can be featured for an additional fee. This will cause your listing to be highlighted in violet and appear at the top of all category or keyword searches results.
PROOF YOUR LISTING 9) You will be asked to preview your listing before it is live. Go back to edit or proceed to checkout.
NOTE: This is how your coupons will appear in your listing if you use our coupon creator feature.
10) Enter your Coupon Code and Submit to apply your discount or package rate. 11) Please help us to support the American Diabetes Association. 12) If any payment is due, the credit card box will appear. If no amount is due, this will be hidden.
13) Be sure your listing is not in violation of our terms and conditions or prohibited items list. (See SaleTips area for all legal information) 14) Enter your email address and we will send you a receipt.
YOUR LISTING
Search Listings Customers will search by location, category or keywords to find you. They will see you on an interactive map and be able to see your promotion on our list and then click your store name to see your listing details.
Your Listing Details Unlike print ads, our advertisements are “interactive”. Vistors will be able to view all of your sale details, save your listing to a calendar, print your flyer, ask you a question, send your sale to friends, share on Facebook, Twitter and other websites, and can even choose to follow your store to get on your mailing list!

YOUR DASHBOARD 2) From here you can see your traffic stats while your listing is up. 3) You can also edit your listing, send out invitations, print flyers and signs and upload your listing to Facebook, etc.
Your Mailbox From here you can find: Inbox – All mail coming from other members Outbox – All mail you sent out to other members Manage Contacts – Import and manage your contacts and followers Send Invitations – Send out Sale Invites to customers and followers Refer a Friend – Invite others to join SaleHOP and earn points! SaleHOP Reward Points & SaleHOP Store Click on your POINTS to see what you can earn. Click on GET STUFF to go shopping for SaleHOP stuff!
Reward Codes – This is where your customers will enter their reward code for visiting your sale. Reward codes change with each sale. Be sure to print the reward signs and cards from your dashboard. Both you and your customers each earn 10 points. Make a Donation – Please help us support the American Diabetes Association! Earn 25 points for each donation. Promote Yourself – Print “Follow Me” Cards and pass the out to customers and grow your mailing list!
