News Team Selection

           3rd – 5th students chosen through application process (positions selected by interest)
           orientation at beginning of the year describing 5 positions (2 anchors, 2 camerapersons, and 1
            mixer)
           teachers will submit a list of 12 anchors, 12 camerapersons, and 6 mixers per grade level
           the LMS will put the students into production teams
           each team will serve for 2 weeks
           teams will have 10 minutes to rehearse and prepare for the daily announcements
           at the end of the two week term, the next team will come in to observe
           in case of absences - 4th and 5th grade will have a list of alternates who have proven themselves
            to be competent news team members in the past
           in the case of LMS absence, there will be 2 faculty members trained to run the news room
