                               Trial Sector Light


Notice is hereby given that as from 12th January 2012 a sector light has been sited close
to the navigation channel leading lights, this is a trial prior to the channel deepening and
widening project later this year

For Information,

It shows the following characteristics when standing in the centre of the ship.

      Channel centre line to 3m north of leads Isophase white
      3 m north to 10m north of leads Isophase white-green alternating
      10m North and further will show a Isophase green this will let the master know
       that the stbd side of his inbound vessel is getting very close to the north edge of
       the channel, around 3m.

Please be aware that the trial light has not been exactly set up to the above and the
isophase white can currently be seen from around 2m south of the leading line, the
sectors have still to be accurately plotted.

Masters are advised that this is a trial light only and should not be used for
navigation.

This notice will expire on Monday 30th January 2012
