project and current state of play.

16.30- 17.00 - Feedback from Agnete Haaland on the outcomes of the steering group meeting
that took place in the morning: next steps, final conference etc.

opportunities for performers in Latvia.
10.45- 11.15 Coffee
11.15-12.15 - Presentation of the background work on the questionnaire for the project; the
structure and format adopted; the information that it intended to gather; and the
processing of the data arising from it. (Deborah Dean, Professor and researcher at
the Warwick University, London -UK)
12.15- 12.45 Question and Answer session/ Discussion on strategies for disseminating the
questionnaire and achieving a maximum response rate.
12.45-14.00 - Lunch in the Esplanade Restaurant
14.00-15.30– National Experiences: Previous surveys/studies at national level ; best practices
related to gender portrayal and age discrimination; personal testimonies:
Nina Stone, Sweden
Agnete Haaland, Norway
Jean Rogers, UK – on how national experience informed the choice of project
theme and content by the steering group.

16.00- 17.00- Open question/debate session on the national feedback on the questionnaire; the
organisation of the face-to-face interviews; the preparation of the final conference;
