These new codes will only be used if the installed metering supports identifying “generated usage” Detail Explanation (Exactly what change is required? To which Implementation Guides? Why?): In the QTY segment (in the SU and PM loops), allow QTY01 identifier to be equal to: 87 - Quantity received from customer in a co-gen environment (used if cogen and installed metering supports identifying “generated usage”) 9H – Quantity received is an estimated quantity in a co-gen environment (used if cogen and installed metering supports identifying “generated usage”) For Change Control Manager Use Only: Date of EDEWG Discussion: Expected Implementation Date: 05/30/02, 06/13/02, 06/27/02 Met-Ed/Penelec implemented in May 2002. Other EDCs will implement as necessary. EDEWG Discussion and Resolution: 06/27/02: Several EDCs commented that they use bi-directional metering for this purpose, and can only provide “net usage”. It was agreed to add language indicating these fields would be used if the installed meter supported identifying the generated usage. Change Control was approved. 05/30/02 and 06/13/02: EDCs requested additional time to evaluate ability to accommodate in their systems Priority Classifications Emergency Priority Implemented within 10 days or otherwise directed by EDEWG High Priority Changes / Enhancements implemented with 30 days.
