President Stan Harper called the meeting to order at 7:30P.M. The meeting was held in the
Board Room of the Regional Office of Education #9, 200 South Fredrick Street, Rantoul, IL
61866.

a. Results and Issues Related to Consolidation
There were no Discussion Items.

Action Items

a. Resolution Prepared to Authorize Action

Jeff Suits made a motion to pass the Resolution prepared by Mr. Chris Miller to authorize the
Prairieview-Ogden CCSD #197 to take all action authorized by 105 ILCS 5/11B-9 with
amendment to Section 1 and 2 date effective July 1, 2006 instead of July 1, 2007. Judy Smith
seconded. The following roll call was recorded: “Aye” Darrin Flessner, Chad Barnes, Stan
Harper, Judy Smith, Jeff Suits, and Tim Harms. Absent: Joyce Kesler. The motion carried. (6-
0)

b. Amend 2005 Tax Levy

The Board discussed the changes: Working Cash was removed to save 5 cents. Technology was
not levied. Soc. Sec/IMRF was lowered to save 11.3 cents from last years levy. This is the best
estimate based on the EAV that was provided by Champaign and Vermilion County. Darrin
Flessner made a motion to amend the 2005 Tax Levy payable in 2006 to reflect the changes
made by the election. Tim Harms seconded. The following roll call was recorded: “Aye”
Darrin Flessner, Chad Barnes, Stan Harper, Judy Smith, Jeff Suits, and Tim Harms. Absent:
Joyce Kesler. The motion carried. (6-0)




Adjournment

Tim Harms made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:40p.m. Chad Barnes Seconded. The
motion carried. (voice vote)
