The Chabot College Bookstore operates as a service to the college community by authorization of the Trustees of the
Chabot-Las Positas Community College district. The bookstore is a non-profit enterprise providing for the sale of course
books, educational materials, general books, convenience items, and supplies needed by the students, faculty, staff, and
administration.

In addition to providing a high level of service with caring attention to the changing needs of the customer, it is our mission
to try to control the rising cost of required course materials by informing faculty what they can do to reduce book prices.
We offer many less expensive textbook alternatives including a vibrant used book buy back program that can potentially
save students half of the cost of books, a textbook rental program, custom books, brief editions, loose leaf editions, digital
e-books, and ichapters.
