A resourceful manager with a record of successfully developing and implementing
marketing and training programs, developing educational products and designing support materials
for various marketing groups within a major international corporation and for customers ranging
from federal government agencies to Fortune 500 corporations.
Extensive experience planning and managing a multimillion-dollar education facility, as

As Manager of the International Education Support Center, led a team of 53 international
educators in the design/development of a technical education curriculum for all IBM
operating systems. Courses developed, including classroom, satellite and computer based
courses, were delivered in Europe, Middle East and Africa, where training revenues grew
from $85 million to more than $250 million during my three year tenure.
As Marketing Operations Manager for the IBM Technical Computing Center in Dallas,
successfully created a multi-million dollar, coordinated communications program
(including executive conferences, trade shows, sales promotional material, media and
consultant relations). Also directed operations of the unit’s executive briefing program,
providing briefings to top executives of America’s largest corporations. These activities
were key factors contributing to the generations of more than $450 million in annual
revenue for the corporation.
As Instruction Manager of the Chicago and Detroit Technical Education Centers for IBM,
reorganized operations and instructional methods of both training facilities, significantly
improving service to internal and external customers -- the latter including employees of
government agencies such as the U.S. Agriculture Department and corporations such as
General Motors and General Dynamics -- as well as employee morale. The reorganization
boosted training revenues about 9 percent while reducing expenses.

As president of a local American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS)
chapter, developed (and personally delivered) a curriculum aimed at providing certification
for chapter members. This effort resulted in the largest increase in member certifications in
As Manager of a National Education Center for a major healthcare software provider, led in
the staffing and operation of the center toward the achievement of more than $13 million in
annual training revenue, attaining an annual growth rate of 26%.
As Regional Sales Manager for a Chicago based firm specializing in the sales of
sophisticated Supply Chain Optimization software, led the team in quota achievement,
including sales to international corporate entities such as Toshiba International and ABB
As Vice President of Sales/Marketing for AlphaNational Technology Services,
headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, increased sales revenues each year, with annual
increases ranging from 19% to 32%. New clients developed included Starbucks and
Federated Department Stores.
As a current Instructor at Texas Christian University, teach courses in the undergraduate
curriculum, including Business Fundamentals and Organizational Management. Also
faculty sponsor for the campus Aviator’s Club.
