My Family & Property
We run a 50 thousand acre sheep and cropping enterprise 80kms south west of Cobar.
We truly love our life here and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Our days include stock work, prep for seasonal
cropping and machinery maintenance, fencing etc. School runs smoothly here and the girls cant wait to get
their work finished to come out for a run with us or head up to their Grandparents place.
We are horse enthusiasts and spend a fair bit of time with them. I travel frequently to clinics and competitions
and the girls have just become independent little riders and love their ponies to bits and really enjoy all aspects
of having horses.
Being only 80kms from town we feel we have the best of both worlds, we can head to town to catch up with
mates and then escape back to country life. Cobar is a great community of 5500 people, it has great pubs and
clubs and lots of sporting facilities, an Arts Council, and great medical facilities.
Our social life evolves a lot around our horses with clinics and travel, however this year we would like to include
some winter sports for the girls so that will see us in town a bit more. While we are there we like to relax, catch
up with family and friends.
We have a house in Cobar that the successful applicant will have access to on weekends if they would like to
get into do a bit of shopping, have a coffee and a bit of a break.
