REYNOLDSBURG CITY SCHOOLS ANNOUNCE KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR

							                               REYNOLDSBURG CITY SCHOOLS ANNOUNCE
                             KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
                                    FOR THE 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR!

Kindergarten registration for children who will be five years old by September 30, 2012, and residing in the
Reynoldsburg City Schools District will be held beginning March 26, 2012.
Registration will be handled by the Central Registration Department at the Reynoldsburg City School Welcome
Center at 6699 E. Livingston Avenue, Reynoldsburg. Only the custodial parent or guardian awarded residential
custody for school enrollment purposes may enroll the child. Your child does not need to be present at the time
of registration.
APPLICATIONS FOR NEW STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT COMPLETED ENROLLMENT PAPERWORK.
The following documentation is required in order for the child(ren) to be enrolled:
        1.  A completed Enrollment Packet (available at the Welcome Center)
        2.  Student’s original birth certificate
        3.  Immunization records (current immunizations must be submitted with complete
            records due before the beginning of the school year. PHYSICALS can be summited after the child’s
            regularly scheduled appointment.
        4. Parent’s Driver’s License or Picture ID
        5. Custody order or decree from divorce or separation papers (if applicable), and
           Shared Parenting Plan, if applicable (regardless of when custody was granted)
        6. Proof of Residency
           *    If you Rent or Lease your home you MUST provide:
                -         A signed Rental Agreement listing ALL occupants (including children) and contact
                          information for the lessor
                -         A piece of official mail such as a utility bill
           *    If you own your home you MUST provide:
                -         A Settlement Statement or Puchase Contract or a Property Tax Statement
                          showing Reynoldsburg taxes being paid
                -         A piece of official mail such as a utility bill
           * If you are living with a friend or relative who owns their home, you must request
                and complete a “RESIDING WITH FRIENDS OR FAMILY” packet from Central Registration and
                provide an official piece of mail received by you at that address.

     Completed registration packets will be accepted at the Welcome Center beginning March 26th.

   You will be contacted by your child’s home school prior to the start of the 2012-2013 school year.

Enrollment packets and applications for K-4 STEM, 5-8 STEM and intra-district requests will be available
                     from the Welcome Center beginning Monday, March 19th.

  Completed paperwork can be returned to the Welcome Center on a “first-come-first-serve” basis
beginning Monday, March 26th. Applications for new students will not be accepted without completed
                                     enrollment paperwork.


                         ALL applications will be due on or before Friday, April 13th.
