Attitudes and Beliefs 3 Abstract This research assessed the attitudes, beliefs, and practices of breastfeeding Mothers in Sasa, Davao City. The study utilized random sampling technique and survey questionnaires to fifty (50) breastfeeding mothers. Later, the study revealed that the attitudes, beliefs and practices of mothers towards breastfeeding are high; Mothers' child bearing age has no significant difference on their attitudes, beliefs and practices; while attitudes of towards breastfeeding is very significant. It is recommended that health care programs which may level up awareness of women and the entire community on breastfeeding be initiated continuously; Empower local government units to implementation breastfeeding programs; and encourage mothers and their child to visit their health center for better access of health support.
