                               Application for Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that assesses an individual’s formal, non-formal and
informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual has achieved the required learning outcomes,
competency outcomes, or standards for entry to, and/or partial or total completion of, a VET qualification.


                                                 INSTRUCTIONS

VIT Registered Teachers may be eligible for course Unit credits based on Recognition of Prior learning relating to
their teaching qualifications and employment as a teacher in a registered secondary school.

In order to provide the relevant course Unit credits, we require teachers to sign and date the attached “Recognition
of Prior Learning – Evidence Report”.

APPLICANT’S DECLARATION

I declare that the information on this form is, to the best of my knowledge, true, correct and complete.
I acknowledge Vocational Pathways’ course fee and refund policy whereby course fees are only refundable prior to commencement of the
course and that no refunds shall be made once the applicant has commenced the course, unless the RTO ceases to be able to offer the course
training and assessment services. The course shall be deemed to have commenced upon confirmation of enrolment.
I acknowledge that enrolment and/or issuing of assessments may be delayed, or withheld, unless full payment is received within 28 days of
confirmation of enrolment. Payment will be deemed not to have been made until funds are transferred or cheques are cleared.
I hereby authorise Vocational Pathways to release information concerning my student record to Government departments. I understand that,
other than in order to verify information provided in this by the applicant, no other disclosure to third parties of any and all information shall be
made by Vocational Pathways without prior written authorisation from the applicant.
I understand that my enrolment in the course(s) may be terminated should I not meet the course assessment requirements within 12 months
from the time of enrolment. I also understand that should my enrolment be terminated a Statement of Attainment shall be issued for unit(s)
successfully completed and that I will be required to pay additional course fees should I wish to re-enrol at a later date.

Progress results for coursework shall be provided via email, in most cases within 48 hours of coursework being submitted. Certificates or
Statements of Attainment, shall be issued to eligible Candidates within 10 working days of course completion.

I understand that my enrolment may be terminated and all fees forfeited should any course work, or part thereof, submitted by me for
assessment be found to be plagiarised, copied without acknowledgement or not my own, where it is clear that I present and submit it as my own
work. I also acknowledge that Vocational Pathways Policies and Procedures for Fees & Refunds, Recognition of Prior Learning, Complaints and
Appeals, and Privacy may all be downloaded from the RTO’s website www.vocationalpathways.com
