CHIEF ENGINEER / ARC SIGNATORY TRAINING BOOKING FORM
The BGA is providing training for existing BGA inspectors to upgrade to BGA Chief Engineer /ARC signatory status. The BGA Chief Engineer rating will allow that
person to carry out an airworthiness review and issue an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) on behalf of the BGA CAMO. It is envisaged we will need
approximately 2 or 3 Chief Engineers at each club, 1 or 2 at each professional maintainers plus individual inspectors.

To qualify every applicant must have at least 3 years experience in continuing airworthiness, in most cases this means you must have held a BGA Inspector
Authorisation for at least 3 years and be current.
There is also a recency condition; you must carry out at least 2 BGA airworthiness reviews within a 2 year period to remain current. If you do not use it, it will lapse.

The seminars are usually limited to approx 20 per session and each session is less than 4 hours.
.
The training will involve theoretical and practical elements, there will be a short test and a CAA application form to complete (bring a note pad and pen).
Training seminars have been arranged as follows, please book using the form below or telephone the BGA office and speak to Debbie.
