1. Civilian Personnel Section is accepting applications from Turkish national personnel for the following position:
a. Title, Series and Grade: Automotive Mechanic, M-02
(Non-Appropriated Funds-Fulltime, permanent) (1 position)
b. Organization and Location: 39 FSS/Automotive Skills Center, Incirlik AB, Turkey.
c. Major Duties: Include but not all. Incumbent directly reports to the flight chief. Performs work connected with
major repairs of motor vehicle malfunction, particularly computerized electronic operated systems. Diagnoses, repairs,
replaces, adjusts, modifies, vehicle on-board computers, primary and secondary electronic systems, distributor-less
ignition, igniters, sensors, electronic fuel injection systems, lighting and warning systems associated with vehicle
information systems, anti locking brake systems, computerized transmissions climate control systems, digital
information centers, power control boxes, conventional spark ignition systems. Dismantles, repair, replace, and adjust
engines. Installs radios, security systems, short wave communications, and cellular telephones. Operates a tow truck,
and road service truck. Give advice to patrons, and instruct patrons on minor automotive repairs. Operates the
following equipment and machines: drill press, hydraulic press, arbor press, arc welder, oxyacetylene welder, solder,
and braising gun and etc. Explains to customers malfunction, diagnosis, and repair procedures in English language.
Writes reports to answer customer complaints. Utilizes computers and programs. Utilizes shop math, blue prints,
schematics, charts, and formulas to assist in repairs. Attends schools, workshops, seminars, and conferences concerned
with the automotive industry repair technology. Handles cash transactions and other parts for customers. Maintains
inventories tools, and equipment issued. Interprets customer request for mechanics. Performs other related duties as
Required Qualifications: The incumbent must have a high school diploma or equivalent education, must be proficient
in speaking, writing and comprehending English. Must be available to work an uncommon tour of duty include
evenings, weekends, holidays. Susceptible to cuts. Must have drivers license. ELPT score must be at least 60%.

Emniyet Müdürlüğü in their vicinity before the testing/interview date. Male applicants who have not completed

4. Interview is optional at the discretion of the selecting supervisor. Selection can be accomplished either by one-on-one
interview and/or can be based on the information in the application form or CV. Civilian Personnel Section will inform the
selected candidates only after the interview is complete.
