Topic A. Type, Leg & Elevation
            Data

Overview- SACS has templates for
            various types of structures
            including, offshore jackets
            and decks, dolphins, wharfs,
            towers, general space
            frames along with
            rectangular, cylindrical and
            spherical mesh.
If the structure is in water check the
Step 1. Select the Jacket button and ‘Generate hydrodynamic overrides’

For structures with more than eight legs,
Step 2. Specify the number of legs generate the outside and some interior
and pile type. legs automatically then insert other legs.

Work point is point at which the legs
Step 3. Enter the work point, become vertical, while pile connecting is

Step 4. Input pile stub elevation if
            dummy piles are to be
            included.

Topic B. Conductors Notes:

Overview- Up to three well bays of
            conductors may be added
            using the Jacket Generation
            wizard.

Step 1. If conductors are to be
            generated, select the
            Conductors tab.

Step 2. Specify the number of well A well bay is a group of equally spaced
bays and the top elevation. conductors.

Step 3. Enter the number of Up to nine may be specified in each
conductors in the global X direction.
            and global Y directions per
            well bay.

Step 4. Enter all elevations at which No wishbone joints are added since the

Topic C. Skirt Piles

Overview- Up to three skirt piles may
be defined at the corner legs
            of the structure.

Step 1. Select the Skirt Pile tab if
            skirt piles are to be
            generated.

Step 2. Enter the number of skirt Each corner leg is assumed to have the
piles at each corner and the same number of skirt piles.

Topic D. Leg Data Notes:

Overview- Leg data is specified on the
            Column/Leg Data form.

Step 1. Specify the row labels used
            to identify faces.

Step 2. Enter the leg numbers used Leg numbers must be odd. For un-
to number joints along the grouted piles, pile joints will be
leg. numbered using the leg joint number
                                           +1.
Step 3. Enter the spacing between
legs. Specify the leg spacing at the work point
                                           elevation.
Step 4. Enter the batter in X and Y
batter of the outside legs. Enter ‘0' for vertical legs. X batter is the
rise/run in the global XZ plane while Y
batter is the rise/run in the YZ plane.
