                 WMU® Pure Water Pure LoveSM Grant Application

                   Only completed applications will be considered.
We grant to Christian organizations with a preference to Baptists. Preference will be given to
partnerships with churches and associations. Also we look for partnerships with national Baptist
groups.

Endorsements
You will need at least two references who can endorse this project and your organization or your
individual ministry, and have them complete a Pure Water, Pure Love Grant Application
Endorsement on your behalf. (Please note that preference will be given to applicants with a
national or international Baptist connection.)

1. If you are a 501(C3) or NGO, please include the following:
* Organization’s IRS determination letter
* Most recently filed Form 990 or equivalent
* List of your current board members
* Tax exemption letter

2. If you have a partnership relation with a church/association, please include the following:
* Letter from pastor/director of missions
* Letter from missions committee chair/association moderator
* Copy of church/association IRS tax exemption letter

All grant recipients will be expected to complete a W-9 (US organizations) or W-8 (if an
overseas organization) before funds can be provided.


If a grant is received for the requested water project, WMU’s Pure Water, Pure Love will require
the following:

* Receipts (Photocopies are acceptable.)
* A full report (with photos) no later than 60 days after completion of the project(s)
* Annual reports of the project for three years following completion of the project(s)
* Unused money returned to Pure Water, Pure Love
