       Mary Reynolds indicated on 2 January 1747, in the Tortola Friends Meeting
House her intention for the second time to marry Townsend Bishop.1 He died on the 22
July 1747 and was buried in the Friends Burying Ground "at the road" on 23 July 1747.2

         John Reynolds was married to Catharine.3 He was remarried to Mary.4

        Unknown Reynolds had a relationship between about 1806 and 1814 with Melia
[Emelia16, Emelie17] Johnson,18 who was born on St. Croix in about 1782 and was a
member of the Anglican Church.19
        She received a Freedom Certificate on 24 December 1798 from Governor
Lindemann. 20
        In 1816, she was living at 44 Company Street, Christiansted, free, classified as
black, and employed as the Housekeeper for J. Reynolds. 21

        In 1816, he was living with his mother and siblings at 44 Company Street,
Christiansted, classified as a mulatto, freeborn and supported by his mother. 29
