The construction of a 7 Km ATV/Walking trail from Baine Harbour to Parkers
Cove, joining into the Parkers Cove ATV trail.

(i) Nature of the Undertaking:
To construct a new 7km ATV/walking trail between Baine Harbour and Parkers
(ii) Physical Features:
Trail as indicated on map provided will be approx. 6-8 ft wide and the total length
of the trail will be approx. 7 Km
The trail will traverse open country, consisting of rocky and barren areas.
Wooded area will constitute approx. 600 ft of trail, crossing only one small stream
approx. 4 ft wide & 2 ft deep. The stream will be bridged using untreated timber.
The small wooded are will be constructed using manual labor and chainsaws.
Wetland areas have been avoided by routing trail to higher rocky grounds.
This trail will provide year round access for walking, ATV and Snowmobile users.
It will provide assess to our scenic country and tie into other community trails.
The trail will be used by the Proponent (Association membership) and general

There are no document numbers available at this time, as a Crown Land
Application has also been applied for.
Approval Of the Undertaking:
As stated above an Application has been made to the Government of
Newfoundland and Labrador Dept. of Environment and Concervation Lands
branch. Approval for the trail and it's new construction has been received from
the Baine Harbour Town Council.

Once approval is received for the ATV trail, the proponent plans to commence
construction of the trail in April 2007. Weather pending. The project is expected
to take place over an eight month period, pending fundraising.
All direct and related cost incurred through the development and maintenance of
this ATV/Walking trail is to be paid by the proponent.
