The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has a full-time Highway Maintainer III (20807)
position available in, New Hampshire.
A Highway Maintainer III performs skilled work in the operation and servicing of heavy and complex
equipment and machinery used for highway maintenance and construction activities and emergency
traffic services in a highway district or turnpike system of the DOT.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Completion of a two-year high school course, or G.E.D. equivalent.
Experience: Two years of experience in the operation of motorized highway equipment.
License/Certification: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate
endorsements. The applicant’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet the minimum standards as
established by the hiring agency.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
A pre-employment urinalysis drug screen is required.
It is preferred that the applicant; live or be willing to relocate within 20 minutes travel time of the
assigned patrol headquarters. Applicant must have a telephone or acceptable means of
communication and acceptable driving record.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess a high school diploma, or G.E.D. equivalent.
