AN INVITATION FROM FATHER DAN --A Special Mass will be celebrated next Sunday,
September 9th at 3:00 p.m.This Mass is a Mass of Thanksgiving as Fr. Dan celebrates his 25th
Anniversary to the Priesthood. You are welcome to attend this Mass. If you plan to come to the

plans can be made.
ORGAN CONCERT - Epiphany Catholic Church presents the fourth in its series of organ concerts at
Epiphany Church on Friday, September 7, 2007, at 8 p.m., performed by organist Joseph Nolan, Her
Majesty’s Chapel Royal, Saint James’ Palace, London, England. The concert is free and open to the
public. Please join us for a truly enriching musical experience.
MONTHLY REMEMBRANCE - The altar wine and hosts that are being consecrated at the
Masses throughout the month of September have been donated in honor of the members of
the Burrell and Pawlak Families, living and deceased. If you would like to make a donation in
memory of a loved one(s) to offset the cost of the altar bread and wine, please call the parish
office. The priest will pray for your loved one(s) at each Mass as the bread and wine are offered
up, and a note will be placed in the bulletin each week. The donation for a month is $100.
THE SANCTUARY LAMP burns continuously signifying the presence of the Lord in the
Tabernacle. A 14-day candle is now burning in loving memory of the deceased members of
the Massicci and Quinn families for the week of September 2 through September 16.
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE is on the stand in front of the Blessed Mother’s altar. Please write in
the book the names of your loved ones who have passed away. We will pray at all the Masses
for them. You may wish to light a large candle in their memory. Suggested donation is $2.

ENJOY BOOKS are on sale after all the weekend Masses and at the rectory. The cost is $25.00.
These books have wonderful coupons for many restaurants and attractions. By your purchasing
of a book you save money and you help the church as well.
NEW MASS VESTMENTS - We are in dire need of MassVestments. You may have noticed that
the ones we have are torn, faded and just plain worn out. These vestments, which are made in
Belgian, will be on display along with prices. We have already purchased four of the vestments.
There is a matching set of white for con-celebrations. The cost for each is $625.00. The cost for
the green vestment is $450.00. If you are interested in donating one of these vestments please
call Fr. Dan. Other vestments will be on display in October.
WINDOW RESTORATION - Work is scheduled to begin on the three windows on St. Joseph side
of the church September 10. This project will take about 14 months to be accomplished at a cost
of $128,000.00. To date we have collected $85,000.00. Thank you.
SOCIAL MINISTRY CONFERENCE - The 18th Annual Social Ministry Institute, sponsored by
Catholic Charities and the Office for Pastoral and Social Concerns, will be held at the Holiday Inn,
Green Tree on Friday, September 21st from 8:00 - 3:15. The keynote speaker is Fr. J. Bryan
Hehir, Secretary for Social Services and President of Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of
Boston. His presentation is Catholic Social Vision and Social Witness. A variety of workshops will

IRISH FESTIVAL - The 17th Annual Pittsburgh Irish Festival will be held September 7, 8, and 9
at its New Location, Riverplex Amphitheatre (between Waterfront and Sandcastle) 1000
Sandcastle Drive, West Homestead PA 15120. There is a special Gaelic Mass to be celebrated
in the Irish language on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.Call 412-422-1113 for more information.
DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE FAIR - will be held Sunday, September 16 from 1:00 p.m.
to 3:00 p.m. in the A.J. Palumbo Center. High school juniors and seniors can meet with
representatives from over 150 of the best colleges and universities in the country. If you have
