Aaron is the winner of season four of The Next Food Network Star and can now be seen on Food
Network®, hosting his own show, Big Daddy's House™. Through his show, Aaron shares his passion for
big, bold flavors and fun, family cooking.
Aaron's passion for cooking began early in his life when at age four he began cooking in his sister’s Easy
Bake Oven. At 13, he was a Junior Volunteer in the kitchen at Cooper Hospital University. He worked as
a chef in nine New Jersey Restaurants, including his own, McCargo's Restaurant, which he opened in
2003 and ran until 2006. Most recently, Aaron served as the Executive Chef of Catering at Thomas
Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He attended Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy
of Culinary Arts.
Aaron’s spectacular success in Food TV has been driven by his creative culinary insights and a stellar
ability to conceive of bold & original flavors and recipes. An extensive culinary and kitchen management
record complements an infectious charisma to form one of the brightest budding careers of any
celebrity chef in America.
Aaron is married with three children and lives in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
