NEW FACULTY WEB SERVICES
The five Vermont State Colleges (VSC), Vermont Tech, Castleton, Johnson, Lyndon and CCV utilize the
same on-line Blackboard Portal and Web Services. All VSC course offerings are available on-line.
Faculty may use Blackboard to help administer and deliver their classes and use Web Services to view
class rosters, enter warnings, grades, view student profiles and check FERPA release codes.
The Blackboard Portal URL is http://blackboard.vsc.edu
Search for Sections Faculty Menu
Without logging in, class meeting information is
available on-line by selecting the VSC Courses/
Catalog tab on the initial Blackboard page. Select
the Search for Sections link and at least two
pieces of information to find desired sections.
Using Term T09FA (for VTC fall) and an academic
level of (UG) will get all sections offered by VTC.
Web Services
To view class roster(s), meeting times and places,
student profiles, FERPA info, enter grades and
mid-term warnings, etc. you will need to login.
First time users must activate their accounts in Select Class Roster, enter the VTC Fall 2009 term
order to login. If you know you’re your College ID (T09FA) and click on the submit button.

If not, click on the here link after What’s My The classes that are assigned will be displayed
College ID? to get both your ID and username. with students, meeting times and places.

To view student academic program, advisor and
FERPA information you can detail into the student
profile box. Click in the small box on the far right
side under the Student Profile column.
Grading and mid-term warnings work similar to the
class rosters, you select Grading and then choose
And then select either faculty or advisors. either Final or Midterm Grading and then click on
the correct roster.
